Third-ranked Salta Basket (4-7) gave a tough game to first ranked Barrio Parque (10-2) in Cordoba. Barrio Parque managed to secure only two-point victory 87-85. However their fans expected easier game. The winners were led by Andres Landoni (203-90) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Bernardo Ossela (195-94) supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds. Barrio Parque's coach Gustavo Peirone allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists by point guard Nicolas Zurschmitten (183-95) did not help to save the game for Salta Basket. Facundo AriasBinda (192-93) added 18 points and 9 rebounds. Five Barrio Parque and four Salta Basket players scored in double figures. Barrio Parque have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-2 record.
