Everything could happen in Corrientes at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Regatas and 11th ranked Comunicaciones had identical 1-2 record. This time Regatas used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Mercedes 90-75 on Saturday night. Regatas looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Skyler Hogan (196-97, college: SEMO) fired 27 points (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Juan Arengo (185-96) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American power forward Brandon Peterson (203-90, college: Arkansas St.) produced 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import Jordan Adams (196-94, college: UCLA) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Comunicaciones' coach Ariel Rearte rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Regatas (2-2) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Ferro and Olimpico. Loser Comunicaciones dropped to the fourteenth position with three games lost. They share it with Obras and Penarol. Regatas will meet at home Obras (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Comunicaciones will have a break next round.
