Catamarca's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after seven consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Olavarria, where they edged Ferro (2-6) 58-56. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Candela Ruffino (184-94) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds and Milagros Acevedo who added 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The former international swingman Guillermina Coz (178-89) responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and forward Georgina Buzzetti (187-3) scored 7 points and 14 rebounds. Ferro's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Catamarca maintains ninth position with 1-7 record. It was Ferro's fourth loss in a row. They keep the eighth place with six games lost. Catamarca will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ferro will play on the road against Los Indios (#5) in Moreno and hopes to get back on the winning track.
