There was a surprise result in Santa Fe where fifteenth ranked La Union (2-3) beat higher ranked Union (3-3) 82-78 on Saturday. La Union made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Union turnovers. Jose Campoya stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Agustin Sigel chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Five La Union players scored in double figures. Matias Reynoso responded with 25 points and Lorenzo Micheloni (195-1) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Union's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twenty players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. La Union moved-up to twelfth place. Loser Union dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. They share it with Penarol and Argentino.
