NBB top team - Vivo/Franca (8-0) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat ninth ranked Paulistano (3-4) in Sao Paulo 82-78. The former international power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) nailed 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and American guard David Jackson (190-82, college: Penn St.) accounted for 15 points. Four Vivo/Franca players scored in double figures. International Eduardo Sommer (205-94) came up with 20 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and international guard Caue Borges (187-91) added 18 points respectively for Paulistano in the defeat.
