There was a minor upset in San Miguel de Tucuman where much higher ranked Estudiantes T. (7-7) was defeated by fifth ranked Rivadavia (3-11) 73-67 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Alejandro Madera (193-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and power forward Tobias Cravero (197-99) who added 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side Diego Peralta (195-94) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Juan Rodriguez (173-1) scored 11 points. Estudiantes T.'s coach Gabriel Albornoz rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rivadavia moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Bahia and Jachal. Newly promoted Estudiantes T. keeps the second position with seven games lost. They share it with Salta Basket. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
