Regular Season Round 4: Triple E-Uda - Guerreros 77-57

The most important game in the last round took place in Gualaceo between third ranked Guerreros (1-3) and fourth ranked Triple E-Uda (1-3) on Friday night. Guerreros were crushed by Triple E-Uda on the road 57-77. Triple E-Uda forced 34 Guerreros turnovers. Strangely Guerreros outrebounded Triple E-Uda 62-49 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Guerreros' players. Worth to mention a great performance of Cristian Ulloa (-98) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Hector Molina (-94) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Michael Torres (-2) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 25 rebounds and Neudy Reyes (-86) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Guerreros. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Triple E-Uda left bottom position moving up to third place, which they share with defeated Guerreros. Triple E-Uda is looking forward to face league's leader Santa Maria in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Guerreros will play against the league's second-placed Manabi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
