No shocking result in a game when first ranked Salta Basket (9-7) defeated at home 4th placed Jachal (3-13) 92-74 on Friday. Salta Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Cuban forward Yasmany Fundora (201-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Nicolas Zurschmitten (183-95) helped adding 16 points and 8 assists. At the losing side Ismael Sarruff responded with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Marco Bosh scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Jachal's coach Lisandro Salles tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Salta Basket have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-7 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Jachal lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the third position with 13 games lost.
