Not a big story in a game in Buenos Aires where 15th ranked La Union (2-5) was edged by twelfth ranked Obras (4-4) 67-66 on Monday. Worth to mention a great performance of Uruguayan forward Emiliano Serres (205-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and center Patricio Barral (191-2) who added 16 points during the contest. Obras' coach Bernardo Murphy used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Franco Vieta (194-92) responded with 19 points and American power forward Chaz Crawford (208-84, college: Drexel) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Obras moved-up to eleventh place. Loser La Union dropped to the sixteenth position with five games lost. Obras will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. La Union will play against Gimnasia (#5) in Comodoro Rivadavia and hope to secure a win.
