There was a small surprise in Santa Fe where tenth ranked Riachuelo LR (4-3) outleveled 8th ranked Union (6-5) 98-68 on Monday. Riachuelo LR forced 25 Union turnovers. Point guard Yoel Cuenca fired a triple-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Forward Lucas Gallardo (199-1) chipped in 31 points. Four Riachuelo LR players scored in double figures. Ulises Gonzalez produced 20 points and 7 rebounds and Lorenzo Micheloni (195-1) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Union's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Riachuelo LR moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Argentino. Loser Union dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. Riachuelo LR will meet at home Argentino (#9) in the next round. Union will play against Penarol and hope to secure a win.
