Undefeated leader Comunicaciones delivered the tenth consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they beat 11th ranked Ferro (4-7) 86-72 in Mercedes. Comunicaciones looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Santiago Barrales (189-98) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists. Swingman Matias Nunez (191-99) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Comunicaciones players scored in double figures. Comunicaciones' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Felipe Rodriguez produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and guard Santiago Mazza (182-1) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Comunicaciones (10-0) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Ferro at the other side dropped to the twelfth place with seven games lost. Comunicaciones will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
