Everything went according to plan in Corrientes where eighth ranked Regatas (8-4) beat 18th ranked H.Americano (1-9) 83-69 on Sunday. Regatas forced 20 H.Americano turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Juan Scacchi (186) fired 27 points and 6 assists for the winners. Point guard Tobias Franchela (185-1) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Regatas' coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Ramiro Ledesma (192-0) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and guard Agustin Acosta (184-98) added 19 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Regatas moved-up to seventh place. H.Americano lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth position with nine games lost. Regatas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. H.Americano will play against San Martin (#3) in Corrientes and hope to win that game.
