Top ranked Quimsa (9-2) recorded its second loss in Mar del Plata on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by eighth ranked Penarol (8-5) 91-90. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Quimsa. Penarol dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Quimsa's 30. 24 personal fouls committed by Quimsa helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
