There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Pergamino (2-4) edged at home higher ranked Lanus (3-3) 80-78 on Saturday. Guard Luciano Gonzalez (186-98) scored 26 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Benjamin Levato (188-99) chipped in 22 points during the contest. Pergamino's coach Julian Pagura used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Canadian forward Cassidy Ryan (201-95, college: Brock) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and center Sebastian Chaine (201-86) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Newly promoted Pergamino maintains thirteenth position with 2-4 record. Lanus lost third consecutive game. Lanus at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth place with three games lost. They share the position with Rivadavia. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
