Very predictable result when second ranked San Martin (12-2) won against 15th ranked Quimsa (5-9) in Corrientes 81-70 on Saturday. Franco Mendez (188-2) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 17 rebounds for the winning side and guard Dylan Bordon (182-4) accounted for 24 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). San Martin's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Francisco Corradi (187-3) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and forward Joseph Caicedo (196-4) added 7 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Quimsa in the defeat. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for San Martin. They maintain second place with 12-2 record behind leader Comunicaciones. Loser Quimsa keeps the fifteenth position with nine games lost.
