No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked UNIFACISA (6-7) smashed on the road bottom-ranked Brasilia (2-13) 79-60 on Sunday. It was a great evening for Venezuelan point guard David Cubillan (181-87, college: Marquette, agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international swingman Antonio Ferreira (200-94) helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five UNIFACISA players scored in double figures. UNIFACISA's coach Cesar Guidetti allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American-Colombian guard Siaan Rojas (201-96, college: WWU) responded with 8 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Ronald Reis (211-91) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. UNIFACISA moved-up to eighth place. Brasilia lost their sixth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. UNIFACISA will meet Cerrado (#14) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Brasilia will play against Fortaleza and hope to secure a win.
