Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Olimpia (#6) and Aguada (#3). Aguada was defeated at home 58-71 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a good game for the former international point guard Brian Garcia (182-90) who led his team to a victory with 28 points. Guard Abel Agarbado (179-93) contributed with 9 points and 10 assists for the winners. Argentinian Marcos Mata (202-86) answered with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Leandro Morales (186-80, college: Texas A&M) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Aguada. Olimpia have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place. Aguada at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Urupan. Olimpia's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Malvin.
