There was an upset when higher ranked Salta Basket (3-2) was edged at home by thirteenth ranked Ameghino (2-5) 105-104 on Monday. Ameghino made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Abel Aristimuno (195-91, agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Point guard Emiliano Lezcano (187-1) accounted for 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Ameghino's coach Pablo Castro allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
