Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Montevideo: Goes (#1) and Malvin (#5). Malvin was defeated at home 60-73 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It was a great evening for the former international guard Martin Osimani (194-81, college: Duquesne) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. Venezuelan center Nestor Colmenares (200-87, college: Campbellsville) helped adding 12 points and 13 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward Emmitt Holt (201-96, college: Providence) with 20 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Anthony Hilliard (193-86, college: ECSU) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Goes (11-1) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place. Loser Malvin dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Hebraica. Goes' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Aguada.
