Rather expected game in Montevideo where 12th ranked Trouville (2-10) was rolled over by ninth ranked Penarol (6-5) 95-74 on Tuesday. Penarol looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American John Flowers (200-89, college: WVU) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import center Lee Roberts (203-87, college: Findlay, OH) helped adding 8 points and 12 rebounds. Four Penarol players scored in double figures. Penarol's coach Pablo Lopez felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American swingman Tony Mitchell (198-89, college: Alabama) with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and the former international center Gonzalo Iglesias (201-93) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Penarol moved-up to eighth place. Trouville lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with ten games lost. They share it with O.Mundial. Penarol's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Olimpia.
