The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Deportivo Valdivia (1-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by Universidad de Concepcion (4-0) 76-74. Universidad de Concepcion made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Deportivo Valdivia turnovers. Universidad de Concepcion are looking forward to face Puerto Montt (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Deportivo Valdivia will play against Espanol de Talca and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
