Regular Season Round 3: Ancud - Puerto Varas 83-64

An interesting game took place in Ancud where Puerto Varas (2-1) were upset on the court of Ancud (1-2) 83-64. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard DaQuan Brooks (177-90, college: W.Connecticut) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. His fellow American import Tirrell Brown (198-93, college: OBU) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Four Ancud players scored in double figures. The former international guard Franco Morales (179-92) came up with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international forward Aitor Pickett (203-99) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Puerto Varas in the defeat. Ancud will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Puerto Varas will play on the road against Castro (#8) and hope to get back on the winning track.
