The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Aguada (#4) and Malvin (#5). Aguada (9-5) won against visiting Malvin (8-6) 88-79. Aguada looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international Federico Pereiras (190-94) stepped up and scored 21 points for the winners and Argentinian Marcos Mata (202-86) chipped in 17 points. Aguada's coach Daniel Seoane used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international swingman Nicola Pomoli (195-99) responded with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and American forward Emmitt Holt (201-96, college: Providence) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Five Aguada and four Malvin players scored in double figures. Aguada maintains fourth place with 9-5 record. Malvin at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost.
