We should mention about the upset which took place in Montevideo, where 9th ranked Nacional (5-8) lost at home to twelfth ranked Trouville (4-10) 84-88. Trouville brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. It was a good game for American forward Dwayne Davis (196-89, college: Southern Miss) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international point guard Manuel Mayora (180-98) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Trouville's coach Marcelo Signorelli allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American Dominique Morrison (198-89, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) replied with 33 points (!!!) and the former international point guard Manuel Romero (183-92) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Nacional. Five Trouville and four Nacional players scored in double figures. Trouville moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Defensor. Nacional lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Trouville will play against higher ranked Urupan (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Nacional's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo O.Mundial.
