Very expected game when 8th ranked Estudiantes T. (5-7) lost to third ranked San Isidro (8-1) in San Miguel de Tucuman 64-76 on Tuesday. San Isidro outrebounded Estudiantes T. 42-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Power forward Juan Cruz Oberto (200-97) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and swingman Gonzalo Romero (196-97) supported him with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Even 17 points by guard Jose Muruaga (188-84) did not help to save the game for Estudiantes T.. Point guard Roberto Orresta (177-91) added 10 points and 5 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. San Isidro have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place.
