There was no surprise in Montevideo where 10th ranked Urunday (4-9) was defeated by second ranked Bigua (11-3) 85-78 on Wednesday. Bigua forced 20 Urunday turnovers. American Donald Sims (190-87, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 31 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international forward Martin Rojas (195-98) chipped in 9 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals during the contest. The best for the losing side was American-Nigerian swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198-94, college: UCF) with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Corbin Jackson (201-92, college: Florida Tech) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists.
