Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Barrio Parque (7-3) defeated 7th ranked Salta Basket (5-5) in Cordoba 88-83 on Wednesday. Barrio Parque looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Point guard Nahuel Buchaillot (178-0) notched 18 points to lead the effort and center Pablo Moya (206-83) supported him with 13 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Barrio Parque players scored in double figures. Even 31 points and 5 assists by point guard Nicolas Zurschmitten (183-95) did not help to save the game for Salta Basket. Forward Gonzalo Guevara (196-98) added 20 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Salta Basket's coach Jose Luis Pisani rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Barrio Parque moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Villa S.Martin. Loser Salta Basket keeps the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Villa Mitre. Barrio Parque will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Salta Basket will play against the league's leader Independ.O. (#1) in Olivia and hope to secure a win.
