Everything went according to plan when third ranked Urupan (11-4) defeated at home 11th ranked Trouville (4-11) 106-96 on Friday. Urupan dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Trouville's 48. Urupan forced 19 Trouville turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. It was an exceptional evening for guard Martin Trelles (187-96) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 4 assists. Point guard Mateo Sarni (185-98) accounted for 11 points and 17 assists for the winning side. American-Mexican forward Tony Mitchell (203-92, college: N.Texas) came up with 28 points (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) and American-Jordanian forward Cameron Forte (201-93, college: Portland St.) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Trouville in the defeat. Five Urupan and four Trouville players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Urupan have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Urupan maintains third place with 11-4 record having just three points less than leader Goes. Loser Trouville keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Defensor and O.Mundial.
