Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Cerrado (6-13) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (13-7) 74-68 on Friday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was the former international center Rafael Hettsheimeir (210-86) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. International Gabriel Galvanini (202-98) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Kenny Dawkins (172-87, college: Lamar) who recorded 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and center Romulo Gusmao (208-95) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Paschoalotto/Bauru maintains fifth position with 13-7 record. Loser Cerrado dropped to the fourteenth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Mogi. Paschoalotto/Bauru will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Cerrado will play against Caxias do Sul (#10) and hope to secure a win.
