Everything went according to plan in Mogi das Cruzes where second ranked Flamengo (17-2) outscored 14th ranked Mogi (6-13) 117-77 on Saturday. Flamengo shot 64.5 percent from the field and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Flamengo had a 32-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 55.9 percentage. Flamengo looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Mexican guard Luke Martinez (190-90, college: Wyoming, agency: Pro Sports) who scored 21 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). International point guard Yago Matheus (173-99) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. Five Flamengo players scored in double figures.
