Very expected game in Mogi das Cruzes where 15th ranked Mogi (6-14) was edged by third ranked Minas (17-3) 73-70 on Tuesday. American guard Shaquille Johnson (191-90, college: Marshall) stepped up and scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and the former international guard Gui Pereira (192-91) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds.
