LUB top team - Goes (16-2) managed to deliver another win on Thursday. This time they beat twelfth ranked Defensor (6-12) in Montevideo 83-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Defensor. Venezuelan center Nestor Colmenares (200-87, college: Campbellsville, agency: Pro Sports) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and Argentinian forward Franco Giorgetti (203-92) supported him with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Even 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward Tristan Spurlock (203-91, college: UCF, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Defensor. His fellow American import guard Rodney Green (197-88, college: La Salle) added 18 points for lost side. Four Defensor players scored in double figures.
