Regular Season Round 9: Puente Alto - Temuco 97-79

Bottom-ranked Temuco (0-6) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to third ranked Puente Alto (6-2) 97-79 on Saturday evening. Puente Alto looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Argentinian forward Nicholas Wadell (201-89) stepped up and scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and the former international Antonio Pinedo (195-94) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was American forward Kyle Kilgore (201-93, college: Dakota St., agency: BIG) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and guard Ronald Cruces (177-87) scored 17 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Puente Alto maintains third place with 6-2 record behind leader Puerto Varas. Temuco at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Puente Alto will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Temuco will play on the road against the league's second-placed Los Leones (#2) in Quilpue and hopes to get finally their first victory.
