Very expected game in Belo Horizonte where 9th ranked Paulistano (9-12) was crushed by second ranked Minas (19-3) 104-67 on Tuesday. Minas outrebounded Paulistano 41-26 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Alexey Borges (185-1995) who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Bahamas forward Tavario Miller (203-1994, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Miller is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Minas players scored in double figures.
