Very expected game in Belo Horizonte where 9th ranked Paulistano (9-12) was crushed by second ranked Minas (19-3) 104-67 on Tuesday. Minas outrebounded Paulistano 41-26 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Alexey Borges (185-1995) who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Bahamas forward Tavario Miller (203-1994, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Miller is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Minas players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Anderson Barbosa (192-2000) who recorded 11 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Caue Borges (187-1991) added 12 points respectively.
