There was an upset in Mar del Plata where higher ranked Obras (13-9) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Penarol (11-13) 83-74 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was point guard Lucas Anegon (180-2002) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists. Point guard Tomas Framinan (177-2003) chipped in 19 points. Five Penarol players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Lautaro Barrios (195-2004) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Franco Ferri (192-2002) added 18 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Penarol have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Riachuelo LR. Loser Obras keeps the eighth position with nine games lost.
