Rather predictable result in Santiago del Estero where eighth ranked Quimsa (14-9) beat 11th ranked Riachuelo LR (11-14) 97-87 on Saturday. Quimsa made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. Quimsa outrebounded Riachuelo LR 38-26 including 25 on the defensive glass. Guard Francisco Corradi (187-2003) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds for the winners and swingman Diego Collomb (192-2004) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Colombian forward Yustin Llerena (195-2002) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and forward Lautaro Velasquez (200-2002) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Quimsa. They moved-up to seventh place. Riachuelo LR lost their seventh game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with 14 games lost.
