Regular Season Round 2: Maringa - LSB / B2B 54-53

A very close game took place in between Maringa and LSB / B2B. Maringa got a very close home victory over LSB / B2B. Maringa managed to escape with a 1-point win 54-53 on Friday evening. It was a great shooting night for Maringa especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. The best player for the winners was Jose Carlos Junior (202-1998) who scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Jamison Costa (199-2000) chipped in 13 points. Point guard Guilherme Santos (189-1997) produced 27 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Adler Ribeiro (179-2000) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Maringa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. LSB / B2B will play against Botafogo in Rio de Janeiro and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
