Very expected game when 13th ranked Jachal (3-16) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Villa S.Martin (10-8) 77-68 on Sunday. Villa S.Martin looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Point guard Favio Vieta (188-1996) scored 14 points and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Jonatan Basualdo (198-1999) chipped in 10 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Villa S.Martin players scored in double figures. Cuban power forward Marlon Diaz (200-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds and Ismael Sarruff scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Villa S.Martin moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Rivadavia and Salta Basket. Newly promoted Jachal dropped to the fourteenth position with 16 games lost.
