There was a small surprise in San Miguel de Tucuman where fourteenth ranked Colon SF (3-14) won against 12th ranked Estudiantes T. (5-13) 104-100 on Monday. Forward Ignacio Zulberti (200-1996) had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Matias Cueva (185-1997) chipped in 27 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Diego Peralta (195-1994) responded with 17 points and 9 rebounds and guard Jose Muruaga (188-1984) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Colon SF moved-up to thirteenth place. Estudiantes T. lost eleventh consecutive game. Estudiantes T. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. Colon SF will meet higher ranked Salta Basket (#5) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Estudiantes T. will have a break next round.
