Regular Season Round 4: Quimsa - Riachuelo LR 58-54

There was no surprise in Santiado del Estero where 7th ranked Riachuelo LR (2-2) was defeated by second ranked Quimsa (3-2) 58-54. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Quimsa made 17-of-17 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They also forced 19 Riachuelo LR turnovers. It was a very good performance for Rocio Estrada who helped to win the game recording 15 points. Point guard Sofia Acevedo (167-2001) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Quimsa's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Rocio Lezcano replied with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals and Victoria Lara (176-1996) added 13 points in the effort for Riachuelo LR. Despite that victory Quimsa went down to third position due to points difference, which they share with Obras. Newly promoted Riachuelo LR dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with Rocamora. Quimsa will play against league's leader Corrientes on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Riachuelo LR will play against Catamarca (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
