Regular Season Round 26: Aguada - Hebraica 92-90
Date: March 7, 2022
Eleventh-ranked Hebraica (7-14) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Aguada (15-6) in Montevideo. Aguada managed to secure only two-point victory 92-90. However their fans expected much easier game. Aguada made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. The former international guard Federico Bavosi (190-1981, agency: Pro Sports) notched 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Argentinian Marcos Mata (202-1986) supported him with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 16 points, 23 rebounds and 5 assists by naturalized Spanish center Esteban Batista (206-1983, agency: Duran International) did not help to save the game for Hebraica. American center Jarred Shaw (208-1990, college: Utah St.) added 19 points for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aguada have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 15-6 record. Hebraica lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 14 games lost. They share the position with O.Mundial. Aguada's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Bigua.
