There was no surprise in Almagro where 13th ranked San Lorenzo (12-12) was defeated by sixth ranked Ferro (18-12) 75-68 on Friday. Ferro outrebounded San Lorenzo 41-27 including 32 on the defensive glass. Power forward Eduardo Vasirani (206-1991) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Uruguayan center Theo Metzger (200-1999) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Ferro's coach Federico Fernandez used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Leandro Cerminato (201-1998) with 22 points and the former international forward Matias Sandes (202-1984) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ferro moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Instituto. Defending champion San Lorenzo keeps the thirteenth position with 12 games lost.
