Fifteenth-ranked Parque Sur (5-16) gave a tough game to ninth ranked GELP (10-12) in Concepcion de Urug.. The visitors from La Plata managed to secure only one-point victory 80-79. However their fans expected much easier game. The winners were led by center Franco Barroso (207-1994) who scored that evening 26 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Carlos Gianella (181) supported him with 26 points and 5 assists.
