There was a minor upset in Junin where 12th ranked Riachuelo LR (12-16) was defeated by fifteenth ranked Argentino (11-16) 113-105 on Friday. Argentino forced 19 Riachuelo LR turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard Agustin Cavallin (188-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 45 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds. Point guard Santiago Capelli (180-2005) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Argentino's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Lautaro Velasquez (200-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Francisco Ramirez (181-2000) added 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests.
