Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Buenos Aires: Boca (#8) and Ferro (#5). Boca (17-12) crushed visiting Ferro (18-13) by 36 points 95-59. Boca dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Ferro's 30 and made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Boca forced 19 Ferro turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a great evening for the former international Kevin Hernandez (205-1991) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 8 rebounds. The former international point guard Leandro Vildoza (180-1994) helped adding 8 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Boca maintains eighth place with 17-12 record. Ferro at the other side keeps the fifth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Instituto and Regatas. Boca will play against Comunicaciones (#15) in Mercedes in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ferro will have a break next round.
