Regular Season Round 6: Blumenau - Tatui/AABT 104-72
Date: March 22, 2022
Rather expected game when 4th ranked Tatui/AABT (6-6) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Blumenau (10-2) 104-72 on Tuesday. Blumenau looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Tatui/AABT's players. Jose Carlos (200-1997) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Emanuel Matias (202-1999) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Blumenau players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Diego Silva (206-1990) with 14 points and 6 rebounds and guard Rafael Castellon (191-1985) scored 13 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Blumenau have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Araraquara. Tatui/AABT lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Brusque. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
