No shocking result in a game in San Fernando where second ranked Universidad de Concepcion (12-1) smashed 11th ranked Tinguiririca (4-11) 111-78 on Sunday. Universidad de Concepcion dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Tinguiririca's 36. They outrebounded Tinguiririca 43-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Universidad de Concepcion looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Jerry Evans (203-1990, college: Nevada) scored 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international point guard Diego Silva (186-1993) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was DR Congolese-Canadian forward Eric Kibi (198-1990, college: ACU) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and guard Matias Sepulveda (-1995) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
