Seventeenth-ranked San Lorenzo (10-20) gave a tough game to eleventh ranked Olimpico (15-18) in La Banda on Monday. Olimpico managed to secure only three-point victory 79-76. However their fans expected much easier game. Olimpico forced 21 San Lorenzo turnovers. It was a great evening for guard David Perez (188-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 4 assists. Ecuadorian forward Aaron Capurro (201-2000) helped adding 14 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Juan Ramayo (185-2002) responded with 19 points and point guard Franco Actis (178-2001) scored 12 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Olimpico maintains eleventh place with 15-18 record, which they share with Penarol. San Lorenzo at the other side keeps the seventeenth position with 20 games lost. Olimpico will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. San Lorenzo will play at home against Boca Jrs (#3) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
