Very predictable result in Corrientes where sixth ranked Regatas (23-11) smashed 15th ranked Riachuelo LR (13-19) 101-73. Regatas forced 19 Riachuelo LR turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Tobias Franchela (185-2001) who led the winners and scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Fabio Gauto (190-2002) accounted for 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Regatas' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Mateo Corso (185-2004) came up with 20 points and 5 assists and forward Lautaro Velasquez (200-2002) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Riachuelo LR in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Regatas have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 23-11 record. Riachuelo LR lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 19 games lost. Regatas will play against higher ranked Obera (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
