Regular Season Round 19: Los Leones - UdeC 93-76

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Universidad de Concepcion (13-2) in Quilpue on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Los Leones (11-6) 93-76. Los Leones made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American-Dominican forward Justin Satchell (203-1995, college: St.Leo) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. The former international forward Darrol Jones (193-1994) helped adding 27 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Jerry Evans (203-1990, college: Nevada) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import Tyrone Lee (203-1990, college: GVSU) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Los Leones maintains fourth place with 11-6 record. Defending champion Universidad de Concepcion still keeps top position with two games lost. Los Leones are looking forward to face Espanol de Talca (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Universidad de Concepcion will play against Puente Alto (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
